Mandatory

Strong knowledge of software testing methodology and hands-on application test experience
Ability to quickly grasp the application domain and functionality
Strong experience creating and maintaining test cases/scripts
Good understanding of ‘User Perspective’
Good understanding of databases and basics of Linux/Unix
Experience & exposure to defect management and test management tools
Exposure to white box testing or technical testing like API, Web services, database migration, xml etc.
Good experience of using source control systems
Exposure to defect analysis and prevention processes
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
A natural communicator who can explain esoteric technical concepts in clear, plain English (both written and verbal)
