• Good Automation background, good knowledge of Scripting language. Development background is preferred
  
  
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodology and hands-on application test experience
• Ability to quickly grasp the application domain and functionality
• Strong experience creating and maintaining test cases/scripts
• Good understanding of ‘User Perspective’
• Good understanding of databases and basics of Linux/Unix
• Experience & exposure to defect management and test management tools
• Exposure to white box testing or technical testing like API, Web services, database migration, xml etc.
• Good experience of using source control systems
• Exposure to defect analysis and prevention processes
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• A natural communicator who can explain esoteric technical concepts in clear, plain English (both written and verbal)
