Events at Xpanxion

Xpanxion celebrates all festivals and events with great enthusiasm and zeal. Celebrating festivals is a symbol of spirituality, team-spirit, and togetherness. Xpanxion Initiates Togetherness Everywhere (XITE, pronounced exite) is a team of self-motivated volunteers involved in organizing various events. XITE activities include entertainment, social-work, welfare, talent recognition, get-togethers, and anniversaries.

Valentines Days
Valentine’s Day is a day of celebration of love and friendship. The Xpanxion team celebrates Valentine’s Day with great enthusiasm. XITE team members arrange games and competitions on this day. Games like writing appreciation messages, movie names quiz, etc.  are arranged. Many awards, like best written messages, best dressed male, best dressed female, etc. are given.

Blood Donation Camp
Recognizing the acute shortage of blood in today’s blood banks, Xpanxion India frequently organizes blood donation camps on occasions like India’s Republic Day and Independence Day. 

Dandiya
Dandiya is a traditional folk dance of Gujarat (a state in India) that has become popular all over the world. The nine-day festival honors the goddess Durga and celebrates her victory over evil, through dance. Dandiya festival is an integral part of Xpanxion's events. Men and women wear colorful traditional dresses and dance to melodious tunes and drum beats. Xpanxion also invites families of all the team members to join in. Awards are given to the best dressed male, best dressed female, and the best dancer.

Movies and Treks The entire Xpanxion team takes time off from the busy schedule to go for casual outings like movies, mountain treks, or get-togethers. These events are great team building activities and are for welcoming new team members.

Diwali Celebrations
Diwali, or the festival of lights, is celebrated for an entire week. Diwali is also called the festival of festivals because there is something special about each day of Diwali. The enthusiasm of Xpanxion team reaches its peak during Diwali. Goddess Laksmi, the Goddess of Prosperity is worshipped during Diwali. Every cubicle is decorated and the enthusiasm is infectious. Team mates wish each other health and prosperity. Offering gifts and sweets is an essential part of Diwali.

All hands meet
All Hands Meet, as the name suggests, is an organization meeting, where the entire Xpanxion family is present to discuss the on-going projects and to provide updates. In this quarterly meeting, project managers and project leads discuss their team activities and projects. Senior Management shares organizational updates with everyone. Some lighter moments are also shared through games and entertaining events.

Foundation Day Celebration
Xpanxion celebrates its Foundation day - October 17th with great fanfare and joy. On this eve Annual Awards are given to the distinguished performers. Various other events like drama, dances, fashion shows are arranged to make the event exciting and joyful.

Kiddies Day
At Xpanxion, we believe that joy comes from extended family. That is why we never miss a chance to play with the kids. Kiddies day at Xpanxion is a special day when everyone gets their kids to the office. Various games and kids' events (like fancy dress) are arranged. Mickey & Donald and other cartoon characters welcome and play with the kids. Sweets and gifts add to the fun. Kiddies day gives a chance to the kids to know where their parents work.

Santa Calling
Santa Calling is a part of Christmas celebrations. It is a unique event during which everyone says good-bye to the current year and welcomes the New Year with happiness. The event gives everyone a chance to guess his/her Santa in three clues and then exchange gifts
